After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, Ali Mokaram moved to Houston to further his education and to attend law school. Upon graduating law school from Texas Southern University, he passed the Texas bar in the same year and was admitted to practice law in November 1995.

Mr. Mokaram has dedicated time to nationwide practices that are more focused on particular claims such as MDL litigation (Multi District Litigation), pharmaceutical or manufacture’s defect claims that sometimes have groups of tens of thousands of clients, and other catastrophic injury cases including commercial semi trucks (18-wheelers). With over 20 years of experience handling such tort claims, Mr. Mokaram is uniquely positioned to not only litigate such cases with the brightest and best legal minds in the country, but also bankroll such ventures.

The simple truth in such cases is that families are often devastated emotionally and financially and their claims require expenses that most attorneys that are not seasoned or well financed are simply unable to handle properly. This causes victims’ family members constant stress during the period of representation, which can often last multiple years. In cases where the attorney they chose is underfunded, the unfortunate result will be a settlement that is under the actual value of the claim because the right experts, physicians, engineers, or other professionals and scientists that could have added immense value to a case were not hired because of the costs associated with them. “The people we deal with do not just write multi-million dollar checks. We have to convince them that not only it’s the RIGHT thing to do, but that we can prove it in a court of law.”

Mr. Mokaram is available nationwide and internationally to personally visit with prospective clients. Helping families during times of crisis is what Mr. Mokaram finds to be the most rewarding part of his job.
