Adam Smestad grew up in the Chicagoland area. After attending undergrad at the University of Iowa, he returned to Chicago and worked in sales, information technology, and real estate before attending law school at DePaul University College of Law. During law school, he was asked to be a Teaching Assistant within DePaul University College of Law's Legal Writing program, where he helped other law students with legal research, writing, and arguments. He soon fell in love with litigation, and has focused his practice on litigating for the rights of those who have been injured or wronged. After 5 years at Eckert & Smestad, LLC, Adam left to start his own practice, Smestad Law, LLC, where he helps clients negotiate contracts, advises clients on business and legal decisions, and argues for the rights of his clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, and breach of contract lawsuits. Outside of the office, Adam enjoys playing guitar, filmmaking, and enjoying everything Chicagoland has to offer.
