For Andje Medina, it's all about the human connection. Passionate about the rights of injured individuals, she acts as an advocate to help those coping with significant losses and life changes. Her devotion knows no bounds. She is not afraid to take on the most challenging cases and demand justice for her clients when defendants refuse to accept responsibility. She is naturally invested in her clients so when she gets up during opening statements she feels like she's talking about a friend. That connection is one of the most meaningful parts of being a plaintiff's trial lawyer. She genuinely cares and will do whatever it takes to pursue her clients' cases in the best way possible. Today, she is a partner and trial attorney at Altair Law in San Francisco. She focuses on catastrophic personal injury cases involving death or life-changing consequences for clients who are victims of traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord trauma, nerve damage, and more, stemming from a variety of accidents, wrongful death, governmental or public entity liability, and negligence. She started her career in a large civil defense firm in San Francisco, which gave her unique insight into the evaluation process conducted by insurance companies and private businesses. She later moved on to a preeminent San Francisco plaintiffs firm where she was elevated to lead one of the firm's trial teams before leaving to open Altair Law. In 2017, Andje was named a Top 40 under 40 Attorney in California by the Daily Journal and was a finalist for the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. She has been included on the Best Lawyers in America lists since 2015 and has been on the list of Rising Stars by Northern California Super Lawyers every year since 2012. In 2012, she received the Distinguished LRIS Panel Member Award, for the largest recovery in the history of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Lawyer Referral Service Program. In 2011, she obtained a verdict that was included in "California Top Verdicts of 2011." In addition, she serves on the Board of Governors at large for the California Consumers Attorneys Association and Board of Directors for the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
